So, last time I was here I posted some pages from the 2000 series Marvel Knights, a fun little exercise into street level team-building, featuring Daredevil assembling a team to take down the Punisher and for about fifteen issues, taking on various threats of a superpowered kind. The team was originally just Daredevil, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and Dagger (from Cloak and Dagger), but the group got an expansion in issue #5 with the inclusion of Moon Knight. The latter thought the team needed some organising (y'know, some actual being a team) and in issue #11, he brought in Luke Cage for some reinforcements. This is a response to starwolf oakley's recent post, featuring Cage's interaction with DD in the pages of Bendis' Daredevil. Scans not mine. Written by Chuck Dixon, drawn by Ed Barreto. 7/22. say what now? oh, okay, steal my list from my character's profile, and then throw on a few other things like that will make it less obvious that you took it from mine for yours...it's not like i didn't actually take time to do my research on them or think of why those things were important for my character or anything. it may seem like a little thing and maybe i'm being petty about it, but it's still really dumb and lazy. otherwise, a+, your character seems really cool. i'd say something about this to you, but i know this makes me look like i'm batshit. it's just frustrating, is all, when this is not the first time i have very obviously had my ideas ripped off by other people. :/

Being overwhelmed with RP and feeling like you can't catch up. The sense of futility of ever catching up makes you panic and not write replies, which leaves you further behind. It's a stupid, endless cycle that I can't seem to break out of.

On the one hand, this will probably make things easier for my character. And I'm certainly not mad about it. But on the other hand... this still sucks. I was really looking forward to seeing how things would develop, and then - poof. The Amazing Disappearing Storyline has fooled me again.

so, the Human Defence Corps. Currently the unit General Sam "Wade Eiling 1.1" Lane's in command of, they were created under the Luthor administration to be the one armed gov't group gunning after non-baseline threats that was actually public. (  And they know what they're doing, surprisingly.  )

I really wish more comic games would let you use comic icons. Sometimes it's impossible to find the right face. Every suggestion I've gotten is a well-known actor and I find it hard to separate them from their characters. I usually use models because they're more like blank slates but they're all so young. Frustrating.

I'm seriously worried that NaNoWriMo will turn me into the kind of flake of a player that I've always hated. Also? ENOUGH WITH THE DROPPED PLOTS. I'm fucking tired of it.

All I can think really… is what the fuck?? It’s not that you’ve left the game and moved on to another; no… it’s not that at all. I completely understand not all games are good for all characters and you need to go where you feel your character has their place/home. It’s the fact that you left the game, moved on to another, joined another game and didn’t even mention once that you wanted to leave the original game. What the fuck? When I first took notice, I was so pissed I wanted to “quite role play” your ass for bad form, but for now, I’m just venting as even in my slightly aggravated state of mind with you right now I find that to be rather petty over something like this. You can just consider yourself the first writer, not welcome back to the game ever. Not to assume you would even want to come back, but this sort of thing is not easily forgettable and perhaps that in itself is petty, but running a game with good active people in it here and don’t need people like you trying to ruin that for any of them with dead weight. Thank you and piss off.

Vent of The Day: I hate listening to someone vent to you about cockhops, when you know that they are cockhops themselves. And the whole time you are listening to them because you want to be nice to them OOC to keep peace in the community. I also hate that I feel too bad for them to tell them what I really think.

people think quantity = quality.. still? " yeah shitty writers write 800 word replies using words you've never even heard/used. if that makes me a shitty writer than i guess i am one.
