Summary: Despite the past between them, Katara finds that Toph is a good friend.
Author's Notes: My muse finally awakens to give me something for this little prompt. xD I'd say it's about time too. I am one more behind in the prompts.
"Thank you for this," Katara whispered to the blind young woman in front of her.
Since her arrival here in the Earth Kingdom, Toph had used every means necessary to keep Katara safe and out of the reach of the Fire Nation soldiers that were scourging the lands seeking her out. The young heiress had even become one of her closest friends. It was odd that the two of them would become friends considering that neither ever saw eye to eye in the beginning of it all but now the two were the closest of friends.
"We're friends, Katara. Always."
