Original Fiction or Fanfiction [Name of fandom]: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Characters/Pairings: Zuko/Katara

Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender or it's sandbox. I am just here to play with the toys and create my own alternate reality. :D
Summary: The Sun Prince and the Moon Princess can never be together.
Author's Notes: This comes from a story I wrote long, long time ago. I don't remember what the name of it was but I know it's still on my fanfiction.net account. Old story is old but I thought it would fit this little drabble just a bit. :D

Once there was a boy who controlled the sun....

“Girl, I am in love with you” Zuko, the sun Prince, announced one morning as he halted the sun from rising further up into the sky and looked across to the young woman who held sway over the moon. He could see the beauty of her blue eyes shining brightly with the first rays of the sun.

“Boy, I am in love with you too,” Katara, the Moon Princess, returned but her words held such sadness within them, “but we can never be together.”

With that, she and the moon vanished.
