Summary: After the final battle against Ohtori Akio, Utena contemplates her falling from grace.
Author's Notes: I am taking a break away from Avatar for the moment to refocus upon my very favorite anime Shoujo Kakumei Utena. My muse was the one who decided the prompt would fit perfectly with this. Please do note that there is a slight spoiler to ending of the series. If you haven't seen it, then I would suggest you not read this.











Laying there in a pool of her own blood, Tenjou Utena couldn’t fathom how exactly she had fallen from grace. She could only surmise it had started the moment the rose signet had been placed upon her finger or perhaps the moment she arrived upon campus. Either way she had failed in what she had set out to do: save Himemiya Anshii from her fate.



Part of her wanted to blame her prince for the fall from grace but her rational side refused to allow it, reminding her that it had been her own blame to bear.
