Author's Notes: I am really starting to loathe my muse. She likes to decide that when I have been sick that she wants me to write and I have no choice but to indulge her or else she won't go away. I suppose it doesn't help either that I let her go through drabble communities either








For Katara, the Fire Nation was a symbol of destruction.



It had been a nation that had taken her mother from her when she had been a little girl. It had also been a nation that most of the other nations feared. Its Fire Lord was one of the fiercest predators in the world and his daughter was far no exception.



As for it’s heir to the throne, Katara found him to be a symbol of everything she loathed about his nation. It didn’t matter how much he tried to please her. She would always hate him.



And love him.
